Make them into something new. There are many ideas for reusing these disks. You can glue felt on one side and use them as unique costars. There are many more ideas besides those, but you can see how easy it is to find something new to do with them

Sell them. Used games are especially in demand. People do not throw out something that cost them so much money. These days games cost around $60 on average. You can usually sell them for more than half of what you paid. With how fast kids tire of games you can save yourself a lot of money by reselling them.

You can also sell DVD's. These disks have a long life span and you will usually tire of them long before they wear out. Why not let someone else enjoy them? Most people will gladly pay a lower price for something used rather than buying it brand new.

As you can see, throwing out a used game or used DVD is just not a smart idea. You can even make money on them. It just makes more sense to either reuse them in some creative fashion or to sell them.
